Feb 19, 2015 | Archives

Hello North Star Parent,

The Idaho Charter School Network is actively supporting legislative change to help Charter Schools deal with facility challenges. ( Please read below). They are recruiting parents for a ‘letter writing support campaign to lawmakers’. (the more the merrier!) If you are interested in assisting in the ICSN efforts, write below and click on the link to see how you can assist and keep informed about this important matter.

Subject: Fwd: We Need Your Help! Facilities Financing

Dear School Leaders,

Thank you for participating in our call on Wednesday about mobilizing parents. Parents have a powerful voice when talking with legislators about laws that support charter schools and we need their help to establish:

1. Larger dedicated funds for facilities that can be used to repair, improve or expand your facilities (now or in the future).
2. A revolving loan fund that reduces the overall cost of loans by significantly lowering interest rates.

Please register for our Legislative Alert to learn when, why and how to contact their local lawmakers about specific legislation that supports charter schools.

Let me know if you have any questions or need additional information.
Thanks for your help.
Suzanne
