    Western University Exchange (WUE):  the WUE is an agreement among 16 member states, through which 160+ participating public colleges and universities provide steep nonresident tuition savings for Western students. Click here for the full list of participating WUE schools!

    Through WUE, eligible students can choose from hundreds of undergraduate programs outside their home state, and pay no more than 150 percent of that institution’s resident tuition rate.

    Idaho Scholarships

    Idaho Opportunity Scholarship: the Opportunity Scholarship awards eligible applicants up to $3,500 per academic year and is renewable for up to four years. The scholarship funds are available per school year. Recipients must renew each year and are eligible to receive the scholarship for a maximum of four years.

    Idaho Community Foundation: over 70 different scholarship funds – each customized according to the desires of the fund creator. Each has its own eligibility criteria, application requirements, and review process. Many have their own applications, deadlines, and eligibility requirements.

    The Lightfoot Foundation: The Lightfoot Foundation is a non-profit organization with one goal in mind – helping people. They assist students in the Treasure Valley who wish to further their education, organizations engaged in the protection and preservation of our environment, and homeless shelters and family housing organizations that help those in need. The scholarship cycle is open from 3/1 through 4/15 each year.

    ABOUT NORTH STAR CHARTER

    North Star Charter School (NSCS) is a K-12 public charter school located in Eagle, Idaho. Founded in 2003, NSCS provides students a world-class education characterized by a safe, supportive and structured learning climate that encourages high academic achievement, intellectual confidence, leadership and virtuous citizenship.
