DECA

The high school DECA (Distributive Education Clubs of America) club serves as an integral platform for students to develop essential business and leadership skills. Through a combination of educational conferences, competitions, and community outreach initiatives, DECA members gain hands-on experience in various aspects of marketing, finance, hospitality, management, and entrepreneurship. The club not only provides a structured framework for learning about the business world but also offers practical opportunities for students to apply their knowledge in real-world scenarios. DECA members engage in competitive events, where they showcase their proficiency in business-related disciplines, allowing for personal and professional growth. Furthermore, the club fosters a sense of camaraderie and teamwork, preparing students for future academic and career endeavors in the dynamic landscape of business and marketing.

Snow Club

North Star Snow Team: a CLUB sport that offers students the opportunity to race in either Ski or Snowboard in Slalom or Freestyle and Nordic.  There are 6 weeks of races where racers need to make 3 of them to qualify for the annual Dotty Clark Race.

Math Counts

MATHCOUNTS is a club/competition group open to 6th-8th grade students that  provides engaging math programs to US middle school students of all ability levels to build confidence and improve attitudes about math and problem solving. Our goal is to make learning math fun. We believe middle school is a critical juncture when a love of math must be encouraged, and a fear of math must be overcome. Our programs build problem solving skills and positive attitudes about math, so students embrace challenges and expand their academic and career opportunities in the future.

Meet on Mondays 2:50 – 3:50 starting after Labor Day (Sept) and ending at Spring Break (March)
