Meet North Star’s new Board member

 Cherish Anderson

Cherish Anderson just completed a 23 year career in business and data analytics in the health insurance industry, with 17 years in jobs that required college degrees, though she did not attend college. She has a keen eye for process improvement and was often tasked with working on difficult projects, solving problems and working with many different teams and personalities. Her attention to detail allowed her to successfully manage multiple high-stakes tasks in tandem with longer term projects.

Cherish is an Idaho native, who grew up and currently lives in Meridian. She is married with five children between the ages of 3 and 18. Four of her children are current students at North Star Charter School, with her oldest son graduating this year. Cherish recently resigned after 14 years at Cambia Health Solutions (Regence Blue Shield) as a Pharmacy Data Analyst, to dedicate herself more fully to her family and is excited for the opportunity to also invest in her community by volunteering at her church, North Star, etc.
