Ice Cream Social-September11

Have you ever wondered what PTO does? What is the difference between the PTO and the school? How can you get involved? Do you have ideas that you would like to see happen at our school? Do you just like ice cream?

If any of these questions resonate with you, we’d love to have you join us for our ice cream social to learn more about PTO and how you can help! Please RSVP so we know how much ice cream to get from Stella’s!

FallFestival-September26

Our annual Fall festival is Thursday, September 26 at the North Star field. Presale tickets are $10/person ($12/person at the door). You will need a wristband if you intend to participate in the activities. You do not need a wristband if you are just watching.

Please consider volunteering for part of it. PTO has conveniently broken up the volunteer slots into 45-minute increments so parents can both help and spend time with their kiddos! We have many wonderful activities for the children, but can only run the station if we have a volunteer. There will be a gaming truck, train ride, and so much more!

Subway Update-Secondary Only

PTO is please to offer Subway sandwiches for purchase on select Wednesdays for our secondary students! We will have 2 Subway days in the month of September (9/11 & 9/25). Orders include a customized 6″ sandwich, chips, and a cookie for $7 per day, or $14 for the month. Unfortunately, at this time, orders are placed by the month- meaning you must order for both weeks in the month and both sandwiches will be the same. After you pay for the month of September, you will fill out a digital form, customizing your order for the month. You must complete both steps or your child will not receive their meal.

Pizza Friday Helpers Still Needed!

We are still in need of more secondary Pizza Friday volunteers (and a few elementary ones). Secondary flows like a concession stand- the students hand you money and you give them the correct amount of pizza. We also greatly need parents to pick up pizza from Costco and deliver it to the school on time for lunch. It will be pre-paid, so you will need to just grab it.

Elementary Pizza Ordering Links

Our yearly and first-half year links have closed! Elementary now has weekly links you can order from while secondary is cash only on Fridays. We’ve made this handy flyer for you to print, scan the QR codes, and mark off the week’s you’ve purchased for the first half of the year. No more waiting for PTO to send the links out. Orders close the Friday before. No late orders, no cash, and we are unable to offer refunds for any reason (including absences, snow days, etc.). One student per order form, please.

Family Night at Lowe’s Family Farmstead- October 10

Join our North Star family as we all go enjoy the farm together from 4pm-9pm. Purchase discounted tickets at the gate. See flyer for details.

Season Opener with the Steelheads- October 18

Save the date- Friday, October 18! Let’s get LOUD as we cheer on our local Steelheads hockey team for their season opener. Tickets will be available soon and will include a meal (hotdog, chips, soda) with each ticket purchase. Find your friends and pick your seats together. We will be sending that link out when we have it!
