Fall of 2025-26 North Star High School will be in their new location at 8900 N. Horseshoe Bend Road. This new campus will provide students with a dedicated space of their own, along with convenient access to the amazing Optimist Youth Sports Complex right next door.
About Us
NSCS High offers a rigorous college preparatory education within a small school experience. The advanced curriculum ensures core academic needs are met while students are challenged to meet their full potential in the midst of a close-knit and safe community.
- Small school environment with a low student/teacher ratio
- Electives offered: choir, band, art, computer science, robotics, marketing, PE
- Sports and Clubs offered: cross country, volleyball, basketball, track, golf, ski club, mountain bike club, student council & DECA
North Star’s educational philosophy incorporates high expectations for achievement for both academics and behaviors in the grades 9 — 12. It emphasizes the use of technology and includes an economics thread that is interwoven at all grade levels.
In line with our charter, our High School (grades 9 – 12) offers an emphasis on courses in business and economics.
North Star supports student achievement and success through a strong partnership between our families and the School.
Your job, as parent, is essential in your child’s learning success. North Star believes that a child’s academic success is infinitely strengthened by a solid academic and community foundation. Parents work together with the teachers and administrators to create a positive learning environment both academically and socially.

North Star To Merge with Rolling Hills Charter for the 2025-2026 School Year!
North Star Charter School is proud to announce a historic merger between North Star Charter and Rolling Hills Charter—the first of its kind in the state of Idaho. Set to take effect in the 2025-26 school year, this merger positions North Star as the lead organization, enhancing the charter school choice movement by merging resources and expertise to benefit students and families across the region.
North Star’s current campus would serve as a joint elementary and middle school, and North Star High School will be in their new location at 8900 N Horseshoe Bend Road. This location will offer the HS students their own space as well as access to the amazing campus adjacent to the Optimist Youth Sports fields.
